Interreg Danube Transnational Programme DRIM

Danube Region Information Platform for Economic Integration of Migrants

Duration: 01.01.2017 - 30.06.2019

Project description

Since January 1, 2017 project partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Germany, the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic and Hungary have taken the initiative to create a comprehensive, multilingual and transnational information platform called DANUBE COMPASS. The aim of the project is to collaboratively establish this information platform and, as a result, provide it for public institutions, NGOs as well as for newly arrived and resident migrants. During the development process of the DANUBE COMPASS, this platform will be tested and introduced to various public institutions via workshops and trainings. Furthermore, a strategy will be provided, which addresses the importance of the access to DANUBE COMPASS for migrants. The goals of this project are enabling a better response of main target groups (local and national authorities) in supporting the integration of migrants, a contribution to an effective information infrastructure for migrants in the Danube region and an easier access to employment and other services for migrants.

The project “DANUBE COMPASS” is co-funded by the European Union (ERDF, IPA II).
